Duties: |
Work with business representatives to gather report requirements Development, analysis and testing of report results Ad-hoc report development for business users when necessary Maintain knowledge of business processes and application design Understand cross-functional business relationships and their use of information Inventory and consolidation of existing financial and operational reports Analyze data related business problems and provide solutions with BI tools and technology at hand

Qualifications: |
- 2 or more years of work experience preferred
- Analysis and problem-solving skills are essential
- Basic understanding of application design
- A general understanding and ability to apply Software Development Life Cycle practices and methodologies in a team collaboration environment
- The ability to work quickly and effectively in order to provide ad hoc queries to business users on a daily basis
- The ability to read, interpret and develop reports from requirement documents
- Comfortable with interaction between IT and business operations
- The ability to read, write, and understand simple to complex SQL queries, views, stored procedures and functions
- Knowledge of MS Office suite of products with and emphasis on Access and/or strong emphasis on advanced Excel skills
- Previous use of Business Intelligence tools including but not limited to: Qlikview, Business Objects, Crystal Reports, Microsoft Reporting Services or Cognos
- A working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 Management Studio
- Experience in utilizing tools within Microsoft Visual Studio
