Description:

LoanCare, a division of ServiceLink has an immediate opening for a Foreclosure Specialist. This person performs the daily duties in the Foreclosure Department such as: on assigned files open, maintain and close foreclosure workstations.

Duties:

Review turnovers to verify accuracy of delinquency letters and legal documents provided
Prepare referrals to attorney to begin foreclosure and monitor attorney performance
Prepare figures for reinstatement and judgment affidavits
Prepare documents for signature per attorney request
Prepare bidding instructions and review BPO as applicable
Prepare files for turnover to Bankruptcy processor or Reo processor
Response to attorney requests on a timely fashion
On assigned files, open, update and close the loans in the foreclosure workstation
Conducts research on foreclosure matters such as: payment histories, document retrieval, etc.
All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year work experience in the legal field or default mortgage servicing
Working knowledge of accepted business practices in the mortgage industry and or strong understanding of Foreclosure process in all states
Good analytical, written and verbal communication skills
LPS-MSP (Mortgage Servicing Platform) experience preferable, but not necessary
Knowledge of Microsoft office- Excel and Word
High School diploma or GED
Six (6) months job-related course work or paralegal studies
Working knowledge of Lenstar preferable
